Established as an active and visible advocacy organization, the Federation has always spoken out on issues affecting the Latino community. The Federation advocates on a wide range of public policy issues, including equal opportunity, education, civil rights and social justice.

Making a difference where it matters
Federation programs address these issues in a variety of ways. Representatives sit on policy making boards and committees at the local and state level, working to increase availablility and access to services for low income communities.
